Stratford High School Juniors and Families,
As we continue to navigate winter in New England, we are faced with a dilemma for our upcoming Junior Ring Dance that is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2025. The forecast is calling for wintery conditions that may result in a school closure, early dismissal, or a cancellation of after-school activities. Any of those would prevent us from holding the Ring Dance resulting in a last-minute cancellation, which would have a ripple effect with various appointments and a forfeiture of funds.
After consulting with our Acting Superintendent to discuss the pending weather and the best way to minimize any lost funds, we have decided to reschedule the Junior Ring Dance to March 21st, 2025 at Vazzano’s Four Seasons from 6:30-9:30 pm. We understand that this news may be disappointing, but making this decision now will hopefully eliminate any fees incurred with a possible last-minute cancellation.
