The Stratford High School Gender and Sexuality Alliance seeks to promote tolerance and equality among students of all sexual orientations and gender identities through educational efforts and awareness-building; to inform members and the student body of issues and events affecting the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and straight ally youth to create a safer, more respectful learning environment for all students; and to create a safe, welcoming space for LGBT and Straight Ally students to socialize and talk together about issues they hold in common.
