The Science Department at Bunnell High School is dedicated to ensuring that all students will have the NGSS-aligned science education they need to succeed in their post-secondary plans. Students will be immersed in a 3- dimensional learning environment and engage in student-centered learning. By the end of 12th grade, students will have gained knowledge and experiences in science practices, cross-cutting concepts, and core ideas of science and engineering to engage in, discuss, and contribute towards science literacy in their daily lives and science-related global issues. This vision is for all students, not just those interested in STEM careers or higher education.
