JOIN US FOR SOME FALL FUN! Eli Whitney's annual Trunk of Treat is Saturday, October 19th from 5-7PM. Come take a stroll around Whitney's back parking lot, visiting trunks and collecting treats along the way. Costumes optional. Food Pantry Donations Needed! We will be collecting donations for the Sterling House Food Pantry. Donations of canned soup, canned fruits and vegetables, baked beans, ramen noodles, Chef Boyardee, cereal, and granola bars are appreciated, though any donation is helpful. Rain Date: Sunday, October 20th.

SHS Open House- Dear SHS Families: SHS will hold our Open House on Tuesday, October 1st. Please take a look at the letter I've attached for more information and details. Open House. September 12, 2024 Dear Parents/Guardians: You are cordially invited to attend the Stratford High School in-person Open House on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. Once again, our amazing band will perform for your pleasure at the King Street entrance from 6:00 p.m. - 6:25 p.m. Following this performance, we ask that you enter through that King Street entrance and make your way to your child’s Advance class. Please verify your son’s/daughter’s schedule, specifically Advance, with them prior to this evening, or check your PowerSchool Parent Portal. We will also have your child’s schedule in their Advance class waiting for you. The schedule for the night ,(below), is your guide for the evening. Each period will last ten minutes and the Open House will conclude at 8:32 p.m. During the night, you will meet all of your child’s teachers for this semester. Each teacher will present an overview of the course, expectations for student performance and additional information pertinent to the class. In depth conferences regarding your child’s performance are scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024. More information will be coming about Parent Conferences soon. In addition to our classroom teachers, our school counselors, PPS staff and the office administration will be available to meet you. Table displays hosted by various parent groups as well as student clubs and organizations will be set up in the school hallways and cafeteria. I look forward to meeting you on October 1st. Bunnell Senior Portraits in Studio- You will be contacted in the coming weeks by Robert Taylor Photography for senior portrait appointments. Seniors will NOT be in the senior section of the yearbook unless portrait appointments are made at Robert Taylor Photography in Stratford. Students will make their own appointments by prepaying the $25 sitting fee for their session to secure their time slot. After your portrait is taken, a notification email of the active gallery will go to the email that you typed into "signup genius" to view, order, and choose your yearbook selection. Dress is business casual. Robert Taylor has button down shirts, ties, jackets and the drape if students would like to borrow.
