On May 6, 2024, the STRATFORD BOARD OF EDUCATION will revisit the application to name the English Wing at Stratford High School after Ruby McNeil.
Based on the request of the applicant, it is the desire of the committee to provide clarity to the process and ensure the policy is followed fairly and without bias.
The Board of Education publicly noted the formation of this subcommittee and its charge for the purpose of encouraging representative communication.
For a name of an individual, the following is required:
Evidence of outstanding achievement.
Resume of Public Service.
Ten (10) letters of recommendation.
The Naming Committee will meet at 6:30 PM at the Administration Center in the Board Room. Following the presentation, the public will have the opportunity to voice their opinion as well.
