Students at Nichols School listened to the book Jelly Donut Difference. The theme of the book is "Kindness is as Sweet as a Jelly Donut.". Kindness acts that the students manifest will be displayed on a bulletin board in the hallway so the entire NICHOLS SCHOOL COMMUNITY can see kind acts done by students and at home.
In addition, students write about how the character changes in the book. Students will share in morning meeting a cultural dessert or food that they enjoy at home and why it is special to them. For lunch, students will have a donut with their lunch as a special treat.
This will be a culmination of our event.
