Our annual Franklin School Field Day is approaching quickly...Friday, May 19th at Penders Field (Rain Date 6-2-23). Today your child will bring home a packet which contains the following: 1. A cover letter that explains the course of events on that day. 2. A permission slip and emergency contact information form. 3. A lunch form from the Sodexo staff. Please complete all forms and have your child return the forms to their respective classroom teacher. All forms are due by Friday, May 12th. What an exciting week of March MATHNESS! Four classes competed in our Final Four; these four classes solved a total of 16, 451 puzzles!! The two classes that came out on top and will compete in the Championship round are: Mrs. Noisette's 6th Grade and Ms. T's 6th Grade! Congratulations to both 6th grade classes! I am extremely proud of all our Falcons, we've solved a total of 313, 849 puzzles! Each class had a top puzzle master who solved the most puzzles in their class! Do you love to draw? Are you a budding artist?!? We are looking for artists to design a Franklin Field Day T-SHIRT our our upcoming event! Students can submit on entry; a panel of judges with look through each design and select one to be printed on a t-shirt for staff and students to wear on Field Day! Submission are due by Thursday, April 6th! We cannot wait to see all the amazing designs!

Yesterday we celebrated our monthly SOAR assembly & had a very special drawing for our raffle baskets ! Our kids had so much fun ❤️ 🎉Congratulations grade 6, best attendance for the month of February!! Woohooo🎉 98% average attendance rate! Party coming soon… BIG CONGRATS to our amazing Falcons who are doing a super job at school! Also with 🐧 ST Math & Lexia 🙌🏻🙌🏻 BIG THANKS to our generous community who made our Raffle Basket fundraiser possible! The baskets were simply awesome! Finally , A SUPER SPECIAL THANKS to our teachers and all adults who are positively impacting the lives of our Franklin Falcons ❤️

The Stratford Library is hosting Welcome Week for all Stratford families - January 30-February 4, 2023. There are different activities happening each day, leading up to national Take Your Child to the Library Day on February 4. On that day, they are giving away free books and goody bags with special events throughout the day.

Valentine Grams are back! Order forms will go home today! Send a special student or a teacher, a super sweet smelling surprise for Valentines day! Please see the attached sheet for more info! $2 For one Smencil (A scented pencil) $3 For one Smen- (A scented pen), choose from tricolor, or glitter (The scent is not guaranteed, if they sell out) Proceeds benefit the Sixth Grade Class. All Valentine Grams will be delivered on February 14th! Cash only!
