And the Oscar goes to… our brilliant sixth graders!
Our students gave an award-worthy performance in this year’s Sixth Grade Black History Month Living Wax Museum, a tradition we’ve proudly held every February since 2018. This interactive event gives students the opportunity to research and embody notable Black leaders, celebrating their achievements and cultural contributions. After weeks of writing essays, creating slideshows, and rehearsing speeches, students brought history to life by presenting in character to their peers, families, and special guests.
All classrooms had the chance to visit the museum and learn from our incredible sixth graders. We were also honored to welcome sixth grade parents, Mayor Hoydick, Board of Education members, and Central Office staff, who joined us to celebrate this powerful learning experience. We are so proud of our students’ hard work, creativity, and passion, and we thank our families for their continued support. ❤️thank you Ms. T ! Another successful Living Wax Museum
